Devil’s Thumb Ranch – Autumn Cutaia

Devil’s Thumb Ranch Wedding photographer in Tabernash, Colorado for Marcia and Bruce’s outdoor mountain wedding.

When Marcea from Something Blue Colorado contacted me to photograph her dear friend Marcia’s wedding up at Devil’s Thumb Ranch I immediately got super excited. This venue nestled in the Rocky Mountains is such a gem to find. The vast mountain views, horses in the distance, the cool mountain air. Everything about this resort and spa is truly a retreat from the busy suburbs or city life. I feel very lucky every day that I get to photograph mountain weddings in Colorado. This is truly a beauty of a state. These two had an early morning ceremony outdoors in the warm sun and then had a breakfast brunch in the Timber House ending with a beautiful dance under a line of umbrellas to a serenade from a guitar. One of the coolest DIY escort cards I’ve ever seen came from the wedding planner. They had the guests names and table numbers on lift tickets to bring together the Colorado theme.
