I feel lucky to live in a state that fosters so many adventures. These two love to take hikes together up 14ers all over the state. We decided to hike up when the stars were still out in the sky. That clearly made this Colorado elopement photographer right in my element. I will admit with a forecast of a -15 wind chill I was a little worried about what we would see when we got to the top. We were greeted with a gorgeous sunrise and an icy wind. A little after the sun came out the bride changed into her wedding dress and we were able to find the perfect spot for them to say their vows.
Any time you can bring your dog with you on your chosen wedding adventure I’m always stoked and ready. I worked together with these two to find their perfect location. We ended up with Loveland Pass overlooking the Continental Divide.
