What Time of the year is best to elope?
A city that is beautiful in any season, but some months are more ideal for a destination wedding or eloping in Paris. April is a particularly lovely time to visit, as the weather is comfortable and the city is in bloom. The tourist crowds are also typically smaller at this time of year. Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong made the song “April in Paris” for a reason.
Next, Summer can be a more crowded time in Paris, with a higher influx of tourists during July and August. For a more peaceful experience, you may want to consider planning your destination wedding or elopement for September or October. The crowds start to thin out at that time. These months also tend to be drier.
Finally, in the winter, Paris can be subject to rainy weather. so if you are planning an outdoor ceremony or event, it may be worth considering an alternative season.
