Ski Tip Lodge Wedding

As a Ski Tip Lodge wedding photographer, I was thrilled to capture Callie and Mike’s special day in Keystone, Colorado. I discovered this hidden gem of a venue through the couple, and it was immediately clear that it held a special place in Callie’s heart – she had been coming to the restaurant since she was a little girl. The intimate atmosphere of Ski Tip Lodge made it the perfect spot for their wedding, and it reminded me of the special memories and connections we form over the course of our lives.

To begin the day, I met Callie and Mike in Keystone and we decided to take the Gondola up Keystone mountain for their first look. The stunning views from the top added to the magic of the moment, and it was a joy to capture the love and excitement between the couple as they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable experience to photograph Callie and Mike’s wedding at Ski Tip Lodge, and I am grateful to have been a part of their special day.

Having a wedding in the Colorado mountains is an incredibly adventurous and unique experience, and it offers a range of stunning backdrops for your special day. The natural beauty of the mountains provides a breathtaking and memorable setting for your ceremony and reception, and the outdoor activities and adventures available in the area add to the excitement and sense of adventure.

One of the unique aspects of having a mountain wedding in Colorado is the potential for unexpected encounters, such as people mountain biking around you during portrait sessions. While this may seem like a potential distraction, it can actually add to the charm and authenticity of your wedding photos. The mountain bikers can provide a sense of movement and energy to your images, and they can even serve as a fun and unexpected addition to your wedding party. Overall, a mountain wedding in Colorado is a truly unforgettable and adventurous experience, and it offers endless opportunities for beautiful and unique wedding photos.

One of the most impressive features of Ski Tip Lodge is the stunning snake river that flows into a pond in the back of the property. The water is an otherworldly teal color due to its high mineral content, which is a result of mining in the area in the past. The color is reminiscent of the beautiful glacier lakes found in the Canadian Rockies, and it adds to the natural beauty and charm of Ski Tip Lodge. Whether you are taking wedding photos or simply enjoying the scenery, the snake river and pond at Ski Tip Lodge are a must-see attraction.

As a photographer, I always try to find opportunities to capture intimate and special moments between couples during their wedding day. One of my favorite times to do this is in the evening, when the stars come out and the couple can take a moment to relax and enjoy each other’s company after all the dancing and celebration. It’s a beautiful and peaceful time that allows the couple to connect and reflect on the love they have for each other. Whether it’s a quiet stroll under the stars or a cozy moment together, these evening moments are some of the most special and memorable of the day.

Overall, having your wedding at Ski Tip Lodge in Colorado is an incredible and memorable experience. The natural beauty of the Colorado mountains provides a breathtaking setting for your ceremony and reception, and the intimate atmosphere of Ski Tip Lodge adds to the charm and intimacy of your special day. Whether you are taking advantage of the outdoor adventures and activities in the area or simply enjoying the stunning views and natural surroundings, Ski Tip Lodge is a perfect choice for couples looking to exchange vows in a beautiful and unique location. From the snake river and pond to the stunning views of the milky way, Ski Tip Lodge offers endless opportunities for beautiful and memorable wedding photos. If you are considering having your wedding at Ski Tip Lodge in Colorado, I highly recommend it as a stunning and one-of-a-kind destination.
